A Message from Senior Assistant Dean Watkins
To foster a diverse student consulting community collectively focused on developing whole students, that think critically, build authentic relationships, and lead courageously to solve the world’s toughest problems.
ICA hosts events with alumni both in Champaign-Urbana, as well as in Chicago. These are great opportunities for students and alumni to interact and strengthen connections.
ICA puts on multiple case chains. These are great opportunities for members to practice their case interviewing skills, as well as connect with other students on campus.
Case Interview Workshop
At the start of every semester, ICA will work with various career services offices on campus to run workshops on best-practices related to case interviewing.
Mock Case Interviews
Practicing how to do case interviews is a crucial step in mastering how to do a case interview. Members of ICA are able to do one-on-one case interviews with ICA leadership.
ICA puts on events each semester to get members connected with professionals in the consulting industry. These are great opportunities to ask questions, make connections, and develop a professional network.
To help develop member’s technical skills, ICA leads several workshops each year on topics related to Excel, PowerPoint, modeling, and various other topics. These are great opportunities to gain exposure to skills that consultants use each day.
